Fair question. The case is narrow: the default directory has a fixed name under the shared tmp dir, so if another local user creates `/tmp/poifiles` first (say 1777), the default strategy uses it without complaint and that user can swap the SXSSF sheet data or the saved package between POI writing it and reading it back. A POI-created directory is already 0700 since #1063, so this only matters when someone pre-creates it deliberately, and a deployment can avoid it with a private `java.io.tmpdir` or its own strategy, as you say. If you'd rather keep the default strategy as it is and leave that to users, I'm fine with closing this. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
