Hi Yufei,

I fully agree with your suggestions. The current Events API is
structured like a listener API, but also serves the purpose of an
interceptor API: introducing a new API is the best way to solve this
functional mismatch. I'm looking forward to that discussion.

On the "pure" multiple listeners topic, leaving aside interceptor-like
use cases, do we have agreement to proceed with my proposal?
