Hi Terry,

Are we talking about the bug in xmlhelp? or another one?

I build on Mac OS X 10.3.8 since I got Eric Bachards Message too
late that he sticks with 10.3.4 for various reasons including
version mismatches. Strange that 10.3.3 has the problem with
version mismatch too.

For me I solved the problem by using the libraries out of
Darwinports and not the ones comming with Apple's X11. I moved the
original Apple libs aside nameing them libwhatever.dylib.orig and
then made a ln -s /opt/locallibwhatever.dylib libwhater.dylib but
didn't use the new numbers but the old ones so that they are named
like the Originals.

Also make sure that you add /sw/bin or if you use Darwinports
/opt/local/bin to your building path after executing source
MacosxEnv.Set. There is a bug in this script.

Did you try to build 680 milestones on Jaguar? Afaik Kevin tried to
build 680 with XCode 1.2 and 10.3.x but he failed and so he as
Eric, Florian and I did switched to XCode 1.5 and the November 2004
gcc 3.3 update. I know that this means dismissing the 10.2. Users
but so far we had no other solution. You are welcomened to see if
you get 680 build with Jaguar or earlier Versions of XCode under
10.3.x

Yes my solution above may not be the best.
