Did you fully extract OOo or did you start setup out of the open
zip archive? If you did the latter, try the first one. It's always
recommended to fully extract files before running a setup.exe Only
an extracted file can be copied wherever it is needed cause if you
don't extract the file the content of the archive is stored in a
temp directory and may not be able to store temp content itsself or
if it is able its temporary content may be in another directory.

This here may be the wrong list. The topic hee is the discussion
about porting OOo to other plattforms then Solaris, Windows and
Linux. You may better ask this question on one of the general users
mailinglists.

There is one international users mailinglist [email protected]
and national users mailinglists e.g. [email protected] the
general users mailinglist for the germanophone native languague
project.

Eric Hoch
