I whipped up some Apple package maker packages to install OO.org 2.0 beta m87 Mac X11 the easy Mac way (read double clicks and GUI only). Also included are double clickable shell script launchers for the apps (Calc, Draw, etc.) built against the m87 binaries with Platypus.

Please report all serious problems back to this address promptly. I have run the packages on my Mac with no obvious problems yet, but as always, legal disclaimer blah blah, no responsibility for what you willing install on your system, provided free with no warranty of any kind, author will not be legally liable for damages of any kind, etc.
first of all thanks for participating in the project.
The only thing I don't like about your miniapps is that they are not droppable. I checked and found out that Platypus is able to create droppable applications but when I tried it with one of your scripts it did not open the dropped file in OOo. But this is most probably due to the way the file is passed to the app. Looking at your scripts I also have the impression that you would have to make new scripts for every new milestone build since the path is hard-coded, wouldn't you?
Since Eric already pointed out that we have a script to produce one metapackage right out of the build process it remains for me to point you to other launcher alternatives like e.g. my own: http://florian-heckl.de/ooo/StartOOo.zip It has to be placed inside the openoffice.orgXXX directory to launch OOo correctly.

Best regards,
Florian
