Hi Eric,

thanks again. I'm keen to try your suggestions tonight :-)
Kind regards,

Hi Eric,

thank you! I will try it tonight. Are there any other problems to expect after nsplugin?

vcl will not break but you should use the patch out of IZ 42778 <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42778> otherwise testtool won't even start.

And if you decide to use cws_macosx07 which enables scanner support you should take a look at IZ 48285 <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=48285>. With my checkout the first patch for extension patch wasn't in the sources so I had to apply it by hand.

Another possible error in macosx07 is a typo in line 74 in file /psprint/source/helper/strhelper.cxx

The .elif is wrong! Replace it with .else and build continues and the else does no harm. I can print using M101 and Mac OS X 10.3.9 and Apple X11.

And in the end instsetoo_native won't pack OOo because OS X cp doesn't know -ua as arguments.

As a workaround I took what Terry Teague wrote as a citate of Patrick Luby in his answer to the fact that we now should use gnucopy instead of OS X cp.

After line 185 I added:
.IF "$(OS)"=="MACOSX"
$(GNUCOPY) -r $(MSIOFFICETEMPLATESOURCE) $(MSIOFFICETEMPLATEDIR:d:d)
$(GNUCOPY) -r $(MSILANGPACKTEMPLATESOURCE) $(MSILANGPACKTEMPLATEDIR:d:d)
.ELSE
and and .ENDIF in line 192.

I tried to use gnucopy installed via Darwinports but it failed. Could be another bug in Darwinport just like the one with freetype. I had no time for further investigation and so far the build is fine with this hackaround.

HTH,
Eric Hoch
