Hi Maho,

I don't know why my first email hasn't arrived in dev mailingliste
by now so I send the links a second time.

You asked for them. Here are my links regarding packing of OOo.
They are from Apple and other sources.

<http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20030619213002144>

<http://developer.apple.com/tools/installerpolicy.html> Latest
link. It was in Apples Developer RSS today morning.

Another installer which is afaik free when developing and using it
for OpenSource is Vise X. The current 1.1.2 X11 package that Ed
packed uses this installer.

<http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Iceberg.html> Another helper for
creating dmg.

As always. Keep it simple for the Mac.

For the moment we can live with pkg->mpkg->dmg. Having a Drag and
Drop app can be done with ongoing developing and imho missing a
d'n'd app is no showstopper. And Apple itsself uses this pkg method
for his X11 and even Keynote2 and Pages, when I remember it
correctly, came as pkg for installation. So it shouldn't be that
hard for a Mac user to double click a mpkg instead of simply drag
and drop an app.

Regards,
Eric Hoch
