1) For uninstall .deb , please use : apt-get remove openofficeorg-

and other packages will be uninstalled too. Installing a new
version of 1.9.xx* will automatically uninstall the already
existing (1.9.109 for example).
2) For uninstall .tar.gz, please use simply : rm -rf /opt/
openoffice.org1.9.112
You may add rm -rf ~/.openoffice.org1.9.112 to remove the user data
directory (which takes up several MB).
