Definately. But the problem still exists of who is using what patches
to get a complete build. Only Maho is putting his information out to
the 'public', even if he is using experimental patches (how else do you
test them and find out if they break)?
As you can tell, I believe in the exchange of information for Open
Source projects. This is definately the case with OpenOffice.
I've already posted what I think a 'good' build message should look
like. This keeps others informed on what has happened and what needs to
happen.
I'm working on building both the 1.1.5 and 1.9 branches and would like
to see them merge someday, if that is in the plans of SUN.
