Hi,

The build of OOo is now easy. The NextStep ( :-) ) is to provide to the users a package.
- easy to install ;
- with something dockable at the end ;

I insist : the second part, Aqua compliant, is obligatory : else, Mac Users won't use OOo at all. This explains why we actually are not able to provide beta2 builds, but just milestones builds.

About dockable icon/launcher : from my side, I usually include Start_OOo + Cocoa_dialog in my experimental packages, and this is really appreciated, but here we cannot use it because of legal issues. Waiting another solution, as workaround, I propose to use an Applescript with icon, so this is fully dockable.

For more complete informations, corresponding issue is : <http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42998>

Feel free to contribute and help us :-)

Eric:

I have a dockable adapter, but I don't know the origin of it. The files came from a m107 build and it works as designed and I've moved it from build to build without problems.

File names:

OpenOffice.org.app for the launcher
OOo_Admin.app for OpenOffice Administrator
