IMHO, Terry's starter program is simply better (much more robust).
Perhaps you should ask Terry for his permission to use it?

BTW: still I'm suffering from bug(?) of 10.3...
It really looks as if this is a bug in Apple PackageMaker. I read
about a dozen threads on this in various forums and none contained
a usable answer. It seems to be impossible to tell which action
launches the DiskManagementTool and which not.
