I noticed that the icons for previous record in the database module did not show up as the right one. I have also been having problems with the database module as certain files are missing especially when trying to create reports. The error message is something along the lines of "The wizard could not be run, because important files were not found. Under 'Tools - OpenOffice.org - Paths' click the 'Default' button to reset the paths to the original default settings. Then run the wizard again." Doing the above does not change the problem. (Default is disabled, not changed the paths). It might also be better to change the preferences to ~/Library/preferences/ instead of the hindden folder in the home folder. Recovery on startup after crash does not include the report, it might be an idea of changing the location that ooo looks for the crash reports (I could be wrong with this).
