Thanks for your answer, I will look for a copy of gcc3.

Please, have a look at macosxgcc4 in STLport-4.5-macosx-panther.patch. This patch can be downloaded with stlport from macosxgcc4 cws

mkdir MACOSXGCC4
cd MACOSXGCC4
export CVSROOT ... etc
cvs login ... etc
cvs -z4 co -r cws_src680_macosxgcc4 stlport

You can directly use it with 1.1.x.

Do you know if there is some effort to adapt OOo to gcc4 for the 1.1.x

I have the complete changes, never commited because of 2.0.

version, as AFAIK the MacOSX porting was for 2.0 only?

No. Officially Mac OS X is not only 2.0, Mac OS X porting is 1.1.x too, and not only 1.1.2 is available : all OpenOffice.org versions (both 1.1.x and 2.0.X) build perfectly on Mac OSX 10.3 and 10.4 (10.2 is obsolete), and work very fine on both Panther and Tiger.

- 1.1.3 is available, with some 1.1.4
- 1.1.5 builds perfectly, but needs some patches (most of them are build fixes). I just never found time to commit them.

For example, I already provide german and french here : <http://ooofr.org/telechargement/macosx/1.1.5/>
If I remember correctly, they successfully passed QA tests.

Last but not least: I'm able to provide 12 locales for 1.1.5 (QA validation is still needed). More if necessary.
Just 2.0 (now 2.0.1 and 2.0.2) has actually the highest priority.
