That would be surprising, since the Linux version of OOO already
supports it. How could you make it a Staroffice only feature then?
Retract it? I hope that is not possible because then the whole point
of supporting and porting OpenOffice would be moot. We'd better off
than starting a new OpenDocument program...
there is no intension to retract something. This particular feature has
been implemented for StarOffice using the Java Mail API, which
OpenOffice.org can not ship due to licensing issues.
However, the UI is there, but should have been disabled until an
implementation of the core functionality from the comuninity is
available, which furtunatly is now and will be integrated soon.
If you have seen this feature working in an OOo linux build, this most
probably was not a vanilla OOo build (i.e. downloaded from openoffice.org).
