Yes. You first need a complete build of Mozilla 1.7.5 using X11 not Aqua or you need the libs from other sources or you need pre-compiled Mozilla Sources. Take a look at the build instructions. A bit further down the page you find a place where you get mozilla packages or how to build them yourself. > My system is: 10.3.9, xcode1.1, all programs as required by the building > page on oo.o. If you take a second look at the build instructions you may read this: XCode 1.5 plus November 2004 gcc 3.3 Update for Mac OS X 10.3.x under Requirements. This means that you for building OOo you need at least XCode 1.5 and the November 2004 gcc 3.3 update. Xcode 1.1 simply won't work. You get XCode 1.5 after a free registration here at <http://connect.apple.com>. But you're welcomed to do the backporting for XCode 1.1 > First, there is an error on the page, under "Building OpenOffice.org" > the line > 3. cd <path to ooo>/680_m130/build/config_office > should read > 3. cd <path to ooo>/680_m130/source/config_office This is correct. If you read the build instructions they say that you should use two directory one that keeps your clean sources and one that is used for building OOo. In the build directory you apply patches and do the hacking. In the meantime your source directory keeps clean sources. If you now mess up something you simply copy it back from clean sources and you need not to do another cvs checkout. > Second. I haven't tried 142 yet but with 140 - my first Tiger build - the error didn't occure. > quick side notes: I have had no success building GTK2 from DarwinPorts. Please ask on the Darwinports Mailinglist here. We cannot do support for Darwinports too.
