I have been trying to build m142. I started with m130, but at recommendation, I got the newer code. Below I have a quick write-up of some issues I had with the build to date. Currently I have not had a sucessful build.
Right now I am stuck on libxmlsec. From a quick search, I saw this was an issue a while ago, but there doesn\'t seem to be any posts about it for recent builds. The error says something about crypto library required. (I can get the real error when I get home later). Any thoughts? My system is: 10.3.9, xcode1.1, all programs as required by the building page on oo.o. As for my experience. I did the build cold, using only what was on the build page on oo.o. I have never tryed to build something like this before. (http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/build_680_X11.html) First, there is an error on the page, under "Building OpenOffice.org" the line 3. cd <path to ooo>/680_m130/build/config_office should read 3. cd <path to ooo>/680_m130/source/config_office Second. It would seem that the en-US files (or the requests for them) are mis-named. Once I figured out what the error said, I went in and renamed the files, taking out en-US from the file names; the build proceeded.
