Hi,
i built m190 on GNU/Linux SPARC from upstream cvs vanilla ;P sources,
and found the Quickstarter thingy enabled in Tools - Options - OOo -
Memory.
I always build the rpm and install using the script from mirrors at
openoffice/developer/install_scripts/
The result I think is "desktop integration" is not activated,
although I use Gnome desktop.
But the Quickstarter seems to work - as I usually start the OOo from
the command line, there are some unexpected behaviours:
(a) when I do File - Exit the process will continue running.
(b) If I do File - Close with no document open the OOo window goes away
I dont have a menu entry but I can set things up to open a document
from for example Nautilus, and it uses the same OOo process so it
seems to be working OK.
This looks like a good development, I am just looking for the right
place to report my observations ...
