Well my question was this:
Suppose you have a table in Writer that has 8 rows and 2 columns. You
put in numbers 1-8 in column A. You merge 2 rows in B, so technically
you have 7 rows in B. You copy column A and paste it in B. OOo 1.9.74
will add a row to accomodate the 8th row that it no longer has room
for. Is that a bug or required behavior?
So I would close as "WORKSFORME".
BTW .. I just found some other bugs, in copy'n'paste with writer tables :-( (going to file some issues)
