Am I right, you are voluinteering for the job? Thanks, but not that fast ;-)

We still have (at least formal) two project leads .. and we have protocols,
how to elect new leads, if necessary. My intention was to find out, if we
need to elect. But .. telling from the first answers, it seems so.
