The problem is not the handling of these issues, but finding someone who
implements these.

Planning, etc. is done for OOo 2.0 - no chance to get new feature in
there.

Currently there is no action on those issues because Sun's
product-planning still works "the traditional" way. Short planning
phases where you decide what should go into the product followed by an
implementation phase. New features will only be reconsidered when the
release is out.

This planning is for Sun's ressources.

Of course you can try yourself to find "independant" developers to
implement a couple of these features - but there is not much QA can do.

What you can do is to categorize the RFEs, make sure that they are
complete, etc.
