I'm sorry for crossposting this but it might be interesting for both

The 1.1.5rc2 codebase has been tested by myself and by the Sun
(StarOffice) QA. As the builds for wntmsci[8|10].pro, unxlngi[5|6].pro,
unxsoli4.pro and unxsols4.pro for at least en_US language are built
within our build environment we do all necessary (and more) automated
GUI tests, API tests and manual tests on the StarOffice builds. For the
OpenOffice.org builds I do additional manual tests before a build is
uploaded by Martin. Within the status page I'm mentioned as QA
representative for the en_US builds.
As far as I know the only problem related to a release of the 1.1.5
build is the problem reported by the Japanese community where the
wntmsci8.pro build has problems if MS Security Patch KB873333 has been
installed. OTOH patch KB894391 fixes the problem. But as we got notice
that building from scratch might resolve that problem we decided to
rebuild that version. As a result we want to publish this version as
rc3. I'll will be responsible for the testing of the English rc3 build
again.

Well .. we have no objections, but we also have no information, if rc2
has passed any tests.
The only thing, I can say is, that only three native lang teams have
startet testing:

I've gone through the tests with success".
For the status of qa withing the germanophone team:
most of the automated tests have been passed for Linux, WinXP and Win98
without mayor problems. I have no feedback about manual smoketests yet
but I hope this will be passed by Friday. (I don't expect problems).
