Hi, We heard that the current QA Project Leads would be glad to see, if successors could take over their responsibilities.
I would like to nominate Andre as Project Lead. Andre is an active community member since years and filled different roles in different projects (contributor and Project Lead for the DE project, deputy member of the Community Council, ...). He always participated in QA efforts - issue review, manual and automated testing and finalizing releases. Furthermore Andre helped to move discussions about QA processes and guidelines forward. I would like to nominate Joost as Project Co-Lead. Joost has long term experience as a StarOffice/OpenOffice.org QA engineer. He always had an eye on Sun provided OpenOffice.org builds and gives QA approval for the English versions for our main platforms. Joost brings in his deep knowledge about our application and processes. And he has the ability to support the Project Lead in the coordination of general QA and release efforts. I think Andre and Joost would be a good team.
