Hi *, This one has challenging requirements:
You need to be running windows inside vmware on a windows host (maybe running windows inside vmware on a linux host works as well to reproduce, don't know about vmware).. The issue is that OOo seems to be unable to open file from the host-OS when these are offered using "shared folders" in vmware. So when you got vmware and windows, give this issue a try.
