I created a dedicated test-user account and log in as that user in a Xnest-Session. You can as well start another instance of the X-Server and log into a "full" Server as that user. > so I wrote a shell > script that run testtool in background, without local X display > (I mean :0.0). so you can run X server for yourself. See above, you don't need to use the virtual framebuffer server... Using the virtual server it is kind of hard to check what OOo/Testtool actually does, whether it loops or not. Is there any benefit from using xvfb instead of Xnest or a second instance (on another VT)? > trick is output everything on Xvfb. and you can see the output > in local your X server by: > xwud -in /work/tmp/oooqa20Xvfb_screen0 I guess this one has bad performance? ciao Christian -- NP: Jimi Hendrix - Dolly Dagger --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
