correct. But this is just for testing purposes, so that managers can get in
touch with the new features.

That's how I did understand the issue.

I'd suggest, Karl checks for collisions before migration (say a week before)
and provides a list of the accounts that will collide. 
I don't expect a high number of such accounts and would say, we could sort
tham out manually (e.g. change login name before migration).
