For 2.0.3 testing we first need a build - setting.
@Petr could you add 2.0.3RC, so that we can start to assign testers?

Sure, just send me the Start Date and Complete Date for the test cycle.

Start: ASAP ;-)
End: 30.05.2006
For all testers: this would be a proposed End Date, as this would be the test for release approval of a localized build the rule is: it's done, when it's done.
The build is there. I set the Complete Date to 30.05.2006. Please keep in mind that it won't be possible to update test results after this date. But the date can be changed, that's no problem. Do you want to change it now or should we keep it as is and change it later if necessary?

A short howto about making assignments based on scenarios:

1. login to TCM
2. choose Test Assignment Maintenance - a page with projects appears
3. choose OpenOffice.org project - you should now see all builds, the current one (2.0.3 RC) at the top 4. the assignments will be based on scenarios, so click on "Scenario" in the "Assignment By" column - this will take you to a page with a table containing all scenarios 5. in this table, choose the scenario that you want to make the assignment for and click the number of the test cases (not the scenario name) - a page with platforms appears
6. assign platforms to testers
7. repeat these steps for all scenarios that you want to assign

Another question to the szenarios:
If I add a new szenario, would this be visible for all teams or for german team only?

The scenarios are language-independent, therefore your scenario will be visible for all teams.

Ok, so if I/We start to setup a Release scenario, all team leads can collaborate.
Yes, that's how it works.

Petr
