I checked again. You are right.
If I have to file a new issue, it will be same as 49414.
Your screenshots are a little different from the first dicription.
But basically IMO it's the same problem.
Do I have to feel guilty to reopen 49414? :-)
Not as far as I am concerned.
However, since it never worked as discribed, the type of the issue
should be RFE and not defect. If you can both reopen and change the
type, you could just give it a try.
However, I've no idea if that fits in our role ;-)
