This is _really_ bad PR.Users won't realize that OOo provides a lot more than this other software: they'll only focus on the comparisons. And the comparisons make us look very bad. :(
I test again the newest OOo using the test sample. and I found that we stillhave a lot of incompatibility problems with excel. I already create Issue 72658-72664.some of them are usability issue in my opinion. but I think we need loongtime to wait for the solutions.
If any of the examples on that site are incorrect for our latest version, we should advise the author. Tactfully but firmly. ;)
Beside this I also hear that some people complain about Pivot table andcalculation between files which not working on OOo.is there anybody know that this already reported and on the way to be fixedsoon ? so we can hope that will less people complaints about OOo.
The best way to fix these things is for people to complain in the first place, via the Issue Tracker. :)
I also hope we can reduce sources of complaint, especially these compatibility ones. One day, I hope and trust, users will ask, "But it is compatible with OpenOffice.org?"
