This issue already reported since 2004 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=29012 And still marked for Ooo later. I think the correct one better Ooo 2.X (new Chart?) Any comments ?

The best way to fix these things is for people to complain in the first place, via the Issue Tracker. :) I also hope we can reduce sources of complaint, especially these compatibility ones.
