Yes, I recognized that part, but didn't know where it was supposed to go. I now see that all those diffs are part of one file.
The problem is, that the script has been written to run on Linux / Solaris, but Mac uses slightly different commands. So the Mac team has applied some patches. (That's what actually has been dosumented here).

Imho this ist the wrong approach: we should work on a multi- platform script. Unfortunately I have no Mac and cannot test this platform (responses from people who tried to use my scripts have been confusing to me - some said it works, some said it doesn't :- ( therefore I stopped working on it).I'll upload the files to issue 71973 later today.

Its filename is: null_b_upd_DatabaseTypes.inc I found one filename almost exactly like it, in: qa/qatesttool/base/update/inc/ filename: b_upd_DatabaseTypes.incDo I replace this file with James' file? Or just add James' file? Or what?
