Hi everyone :)I got testtool all set up to run tonight, following Maho's instructions, guessed where to put James' file, then ran it.
The Good News™ It ran. :) The Bad News™ It finished after a few minutes.The process complained about the locale constantly, although I had changed it to C in /etc/profile, so I probably have to restart the system to enable that, not just restart X11. ( I couldn't save the contents of the X11 terminal window, so I have to paraphrase here. Can't even get the dratted thing to scroll up.)
It kept saying that it was starting OK, and would run (name) file. Then it would say soffice couldn't find any processes belonging to me, or similar. It just ended up saying it was FINISHED in 3 min 58 sec, which seems a bit quick, from what you have said. There was no output like what Maho quoted at the end of his email.
The Vietnamese text that flashed before my eyes in VCL occasionally didn't display properly: all the accented characters were either missing or munged.
In the errorlog ... oops. There are only .res files in the logs directory I created, and in the errorlogs directory in qatesttool, there is only dummy.txt and privatenvironment.txt, which is virtually empty.
