Testtool and TCM are 2 separate tools. One for automatic testing and
one for manual testing. they are complementary and if you have time
and resources it would be great to use both tools. In case you have
not ... you can test using a mix of them, for example: use the
testtool to automatically create screenshots of the product (result is
approx. 750 but they are much easier and faster to check...) and to
select a couple of scenarios....
There is also a "Automation" scenario which has ooo_releasetest.sh as
test case.
The release sanity scenario has two automation test cases (run first.bas
and topten.bas). So .. when using TCM you will get a hint, what
testscripts to run ;-)
