The test is needed. The problem is, that someone who does not know
about non-gregorian calendars cannot tell, if the test has been
passed or if it failed.
So this would be set to "skipped" in most cases.
Is this information part of the test description?
Just so that this information doesn't get lost in the mailing list
archive, instead of being where it needs to be.
