Please, try to understand the difference between patents and software patents. Software is protected by copyright, period. Having someone be granted a monopoly right on a matter that is NOT what patents were born for is madness. I've never talked about patents in general, I'm not interested in them. But the thieves and abuses that derive from adopting patents on software is.
