I think this is the changes for FontConfig. You are using Linux, I'm
right? In OOo 2.4 the font configuration is changes in that way, that
now the font configuration is used from the system. As I know this was a
requirement by the Linux Distros.
So in OOo2.3.1 the font config of OOo is used and in OOo 2.4 the font
config by the system. But the fonts of OOo aren't installed system wide
and the OOo fonts aren't found in the system. Therefore you get a font
fallback which is done by the system. If you install the fonts of OOo
system wide, the problem should be fixed.
If this is a bug or a new enhancement, I do not know until now. I will
clarify it. I set the bug to Herbert Duerr. He made the changes and
could explain it in more details.
