Hi Testers,
the former VCL TestTool beta binaries are now declared as final:

The new VCL TestTool binaries are now mandatory to test
OOo 2.4 and OOo 3.x
You get the VCL TestTool binaries at:
http://qa.openoffice.org/ooQAReloaded/AutomationTeamsite/ooQA-TeamAutomationBin.html
The binaries are based on the milestone SRC680m226 for the platforms:
- Linux
- Win32
- Solaris Intel
- Solaris Sparc
The (not yet provided) binary for Mac OS X Intel will be based on
SRC680m243.
Since the beginning of January 2008 some test script writers already
use commands from the new VCL TestTool - I apologize for not announcing
it earlier.
The most obvious error, indicating that you use an old VCL TestTool is:
Slot/control unknown :"WaitSlot"
Some follow-up mails or even a blog will follow, showing the advantages
of the new VCL TestTool ;-)
