But this does not mean that such a service does not exist. Some Linux distributions actually do that. And anybody is free to do the same: take the (old) sources identify the bug, apply a patch and build a patched version. Anybody can ship this to a customer - but should make clear that this is not an "oriiginal" OpenOffice.org build.
