So we should seggest users use the new version, because common issues won't be fixed by OOo comunity. There is a OOo2.2.1 user complain that a bug havn't been fixed for a long time. I'll suggest him use the new version. (I've tested, the new version is fixed.) Some Linux distributions actually do that. And anybody is free to do the same: take the (old) sources identify the bug, apply a patch and build a patched version.
