Currently, we are testing mongolian translation of OOo 2.4. There are
some terms which seem to have two forms, one where all words start with
capital letters and one where only the first word has a capital letter,
for example "File Types" vs "File types", "File Name" vs "File name",
etc.
Do the two forms express different meanings, for example that "Type" in
"File Type" is a self-contained object? Or is it just German writing
style (all nouns begin with a capital letter)?

In the Dutch language group we consider the mixed use of capital first letter(s) only first word / all words as a mistake. We did what we considered best for our situation: only the first word has a capital.

I hope this helps with your decision,

kindest regards,
Cor
