Hi Badral, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote (26-5-2008 16:21)Currently, we are testing mongolian translation of OOo 2.4. There aresome terms which seem to have two forms, one where all words start with capital letters and one where only the first word has a capital letter, for example "File Types" vs "File types", "File Name" vs "File name", etc.Do the two forms express different meanings, for example that "Type" in"File Type" is a self-contained object? Or is it just German writing style (all nouns begin with a capital letter)? In the Dutch language group we consider the mixed use of capital first letter(s) only first word / all words as a mistake. We did what we considered best for our situation: only the first word has a capital.I hope this helps with your decision,
Badral, Cor is quite right. This mixed use of initial capital letters is an inconsistency of style within the OpenOffice.org English version. You need to decide on your own style, and choose what fits your language best.
Good luck with your translation. :) from Clytie Vietnamese Free Software Translation Team http://vnoss.net/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=projects:l10n
