Hi Ambrogio,

I guess you input number first, and then set it to boolean, because if you set
format to boolean first and then input a number, the format of the cell will
change to numeric automatically. ;-)

For the first one, IMHO, False is Zero, and you ordered don't display zero, so
false will not show. I think this is OK. If you want it shows up, you can check
the "Display zero" in the options settings.

For the 2nd one, I tested in OOo300m9 and DEV300m37, the number can be restored
after I set the cell back to numeric format.

Best regards,
Lihua

主题: [qa-dev] Question about boolean format in Calc

Hi all,
I have two questions about the cell format boolean.
The first is:
If I have a spreadsheet with the option to not show zero values, I
configure some cells with the boolean format and I put in the cells some
values different from zero I see TRUE, but if I put 0 I will not see
FALSE.
Is right that I should expect the FALSE even if I have the spreadsheet
to not show zero values?
The second is:
If I configure some cells to be boolean and I put in some values, I will
see TRUE or FALSE even if Calc remember the right value inserted.
So, if I format to Numeric, standard, I expect to return to the right
number and not to boolean.
But my Calc (3.0.1 RC1) doesn't show the numeric value.
I would open 2 issue, but I would like to discuss here before to open
them.
