Hi Stefan and all, I have some questions about some settings of drawing object in writer. Would you please have a look at it? Thanks in advance.
Steps: 1. Create a writer document, draw 2 drawing object. (Now the 2 drawing objects are anchored at the first paragraph) 2. Add several paragraph by press Enter, Add the 3rd drawing object. (the 3rd drawing object is differently anchored to the former objects) 3. Right click one of the objects, choose "Position and Size" in the context menu. (In "Position and Size" tab, All the controls in the "Position" section are available) 4. Close the dialog, and Select the 1st and the 2nd object(Select 2 objects). Right click and choose "Position and Size" in the context menu. (In "Position" section, the "to" listboxes are unavailable. "Mirror on even pages" is unavailable.) 5. Adjust the "by" value and click OK button. (The 2 objects are moved accordingly.) Questions: a. In step 4, Why "to" listboxes and "mirror on even pages" are unvailable? b. There are values in the "by" spinboxes, So there must be references to make sense the value. What are the references? c. After step 5, the 2 objects move as one unit, what's the references? 6. Now Select the 1st and the 3rd object(They are differently anchored), and right click and choose "Position and Size". (Now all the listboxes and spinboxes are unavailable, seems reasonable, because they have different anchor and hard to find a common reference. But "Mirror on even pages" checkbox is available.) Question: d. Why "Mirror on even pages" checkbox is available this time, while unavailable when the objects have same anchor? 7. Check the "Mirror on even pages" Question: e. We can see "Horizontal" and 2 "to" listboxes are available now. Is this the correct behavior? 8. Uncheck the "Mirror on even pages" Question: f. We can see "Horizontal" and 2 "to" listboxes are still available. A bug? 9. Set different values to these controls, I can't see any effect to the document.
