We have reports, on the Italian mailing list, about a possible
regression of http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=91183 :
under Mac OS X, when nonprinting characters are enabled there are issues
with inter-character spacing and cursor position.

The issue is marked as fixed in 3.0.1 (and the relevant CWS was
integrated back in November) but apparently is still there in 3.1.

Since we don't have enough Italian testers available at the moment on
Mac OS X, could someone please check whether the issue has to be
reopened? There is a bugdoc attached to the issue, so the check should
be really easy: just see what happens enabling and disabling nonprinting
characters.

Our testers use the official Aqua builds from SUN, if this is relevant.

Regards,
Andrea Pescetti - Italian N-L Project Lead.
