For the UI test of translation the testtool can be helpful. There is an
option to create screenshots automatically.
these screenshots are visible by many image viewer. so you can look if
all dialog contains a translation.
checking a localization this way should in my opinion be done
beforehand. I think a release test scenario should be reduced to some
kind of technical check. Doing this in a release candidate might be a
bit too late.
