Hi, I can agree with the idea that we would utilize the testool to take snapshots of most of the dialog windows.
But, wait a minute. Is that really useful for release sanity check of localized version of release candidates? If someone find mistranslations during release sanity check, what can we do? Could such a mistranslation be considered a show-stopper bug and force to rework the translation and to build the next release candidates? I do not say that testtool is meaningless. It is a great tool. What I would like to insist here is when the testtool should be used. Tora Mechtilde wrote:
For the UI test of translation the testtool can be helpful. There is an option to create screenshots automatically. these screenshots are visible by many image viewer. so you can look if all dialog contains a translation.
