change you describe means that testtool writes a file into the CWS'es
SVN working copy.
This is an internal issue, as this is an public mailing list, I will not
discuss here further.
That's no good style at all. Intermediate files (in the sense of: not
intended to be committed) belong into the output paths, only files to be
checked in belong into the source tree. Everything else is confusing,
and just adds overhead. (For instance, the usual "is everything
committed?" checks before giving a CWS to RE will stumble upon hid.lst.)
This depends on your setting in the VCL TestTool configuration.
Just choose a hid-directory setting outside of your source tree, and
the implemented mechanism will copy hid.lst file to that location.
In the announcement I assumed default path settings.
If you really think that testautomation/global/hid is a good place, then
please add hid.lst to the svn:ignore property of this folder, so it will
never be reported as to-be-committed file.
