Hi Danushka,this is the workaround :
go in qpid/java/build/common/classes and delete qpidversion.properties
don't ask me why it's working... :)

BTW what is the use of the property qpid.svnversion in the
qpidversion.properties file actually?. How does
qpid.svnversion=${qpid.svnversion} make sense?.
