no... just that the way statistics were defined they had to return an instance
of Number... I'm not sure this really is a statistic anyway... it's more of a
state thing, so perhaps we want to reclassify it as a derived attribute or
something. having said that, obviously for AMQP 1.0 you could have multiple
open transactions on a session in which case a statistic/count of open
transactions would make sense
