A major omission in AMQP 0-8/9/9-1 is an ability to synchronously publish
messages (corrected in AMQP 0-10 and AMQP 1.0).
RabbitMQ have an extension for supporting synchronous publishing in AMQP 0-9-1
described here: https://www.rabbitmq.com/confirms.html
The same extension can be added to the Java Broker, both increasing
interoperability and providing better compliance with the JMS specification.
