"Be sure to test on a system with IPv6 disabled. In the no-IPv6 case it would
be safe to issue warnings and then ignore listeners/connectors configured for
IPv6. In the self test case you must detect if IPv6 is enabled and run IPv6
tests only if it is enabled.
It is a safe bet that IPv4 is always enabled. Down the road there may be some
IPv6-only system but I've never seen one. Current Linux has issues when IPv4 is
missing."
